iPhone 5 problems

iPhone 5: is it that good ?

The latest smartphone released by Apple, the iPhone 5, has got a lot of people talking. Some users who already bought the phone are giving out over their frustrations and yet a wagon of people, maybe Thomas the train & friends on PBS, are patiently waiting for theirs. Yes, maybe you already heard more enough rumors on i-products to give another dive on other platforms like android or blackberry but here at Axle Tech, we give you the latest updates and all specs of your device, how does the i-phone 5 makes lead of innovation compare to other mobile devices ? and is it that good or should you wait for Steve Jobs getting back from the dead ?
Okay, we all know there's some pretty jaw breaking phones out there, running android OS. Htc, Samsung,Motorola have released some pretty good phones and gave pretty stiff competition, deciding on which phone to put your money in is getting harder everyday with those tech wonders. The iPhone 5 just got out in september, it was expected to be better than its predecessor the iPhone 4s, with larger screen size, running on a faster processor, better camera, 4G ready (there's been smartphone on 4G before i-phone 5) and tons of other features (Siri, icloud, new map app...). Apple confirmed  that the company has already pre-sold 5 millions iPhone 5 the first weeks (what a magic number, iPhone 5....5 millions pre-sold), looks like Tim Cook has found the golden egg ! Well, that's not the case of the people who bought it, below is a list of problems experienced so far with the iPhone 5.

1: Maps app

The first major changes on the new smartphone is the new maps app. CEO of apple, Tim Cook said that the app was beautiful and very powerful. The new maps app sure looks beautiful but on the other hand don't get surprised when you search your area and find nothing but a set of beautiful pixels. This map app wasn't what we expected and its obvious that the consumers are mad. Replacing google maps for a cheap, inaccurate app wasn't the innovation we've been waiting for! This is a huge mess!
Apple could have solve this problem by keeping google maps and put a BETA tag on the new map app, this would usually reduce the consumers expectations because a app with beta tag on it means its still in development.

2: Weight

There was a time when having a phone meant you had to be a gym addict type of person. Back in the days, phone weighted a lot. Holding those army-like phones and talking for 15 minutes was a record. People wanted more out of their product, not everyone likes to carry heavy devices, especially when its necessary so you can join your loved ones or for business. We, consumers wanted much lighter and thinner phones, well we got served !
IPhone 5 isn't only thinner than the other iPhones but its also the most lighter too. Having a phone that is too light makes the device look cheap, like they stuffed it or something. A phone that is too light isn't going to last long. One advice people, watch for the wind !

3: Hey Siri, who's your daddy ?

Siri is one spectacular apps released by Apple that got my whole attention, at some point I used to adore this virtual buddy in my iPhone 4, I found Siri to have a very sexy voice but does that helps when its struggling with some easy questions like: who created you ?
Plus, Siri can get confused when asking about questions about cities that have the same name but in different states. It might not answer all your questions folks, me I like to toy around with her.

4: Battery life

Againg! c'mon Apple the joke is over now, stop it! Every new iPhone brings complaints about battery life. What's a phone that can do cool stuffs if it only last for a couple of hours. Fully charged, the iPhone 5 loses 40% of its battery the first hour. Apple needs to find a way to fix this problem like they always do.

 5: iLeak

White iPhone 5s are not easy to scuff than black models but they have a problem of their own. A small amount of light leak out of the right corner of the screen. In a dark room, you can see perfectly the light leaking out of the device.
